Local sexual assault victims need local support

Under this LNP State Government, victim-survivors seeking rape kits at Caboolture Hospital have been told to drive to Brisbane for much needed forensic examination.

Victim-survivors deserve better from our local hospital. No sexual assault survivor should be turned away and sent an hour down the road for help after such a traumatic crime. Delays like this can result in victims opting to not proceed with forensic examinations and reporting, meaning their attacker might get away with their crime.
