# Youth Parliament nominations open
By [Mark Ryan MP](https://markryan.com.au/news/author/mark-ryan-mp) · 1 minute read
The [Queensland Parliament](https://www.facebook.com/QueenslandParliament?__tn__=-]K*F)'s Youth Parliament program is inviting primary school kids from the Morayfield electorate to take part in their very own parliamentary debate.
Local state schools have been invited to nominate Year 5 and 6 students to spend the day at Parliament House in George Street, Brisbane. Some lucky kid will even get to sit in my seat!
If your child is keen to give this great program a go, they should speak with their teacher.
