Morayfield State School celebrated Under Eights Day last Friday, with a little help from special guest Mark Ryan MP.
The school’s youngest students embraced the theme of ‘Children Exploring Language and Culture’, with a fun morning of drawing, painting and crafting.
Students from prep to year two unleashed their inner artist, producing some amazing results and a whole lot of fun.
“Unlike most adults, young children take to art with absolutely no inhibitions,” said Mark Ryan.
“Watching these youngsters express themselves through their artwork was a real pleasure.”
Under Eights Week has been proudly running in Queensland for more than sixty years, and is co-ordinated by Early Childhood Australia’s Queensland Branch.
