State Member for Morayfield Mark Ryan today announced Treasurer and Deputy Premier Jackie Trad as guest speaker for his small business network coffee catch-up on Thursday, 19 July.
To be held at Revolution Espresso Lounge on Beerburrum Road, Caboolture, this small business networking event will provide local business owners the opportunity to hear from Treasurer Trad how the recent State Budget will benefit our region.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for local business owners to speak directly with the Treasurer,” said Mr Ryan.
“The State Budget, announced last month, contained a massive $45.8 billion to be spent on job-creating infrastructure throughout the state.
“Projects in our local area include improvements to Beerburrum and Morayfield Roads, an additional Special School, continuation of construction of the new Caboolture Police Station and completion of expansion to the Caboolture Hospital Emergency Department.
“All of these projects employ a number of local people and provide a range of opportunities for local businesses.
“And there’s also a variety of other funding in the Budget to help business owners and employees alike.
“The Back to Work program, which has been extended in our region for a further two years, has already delivered amazing results, with 246 local people gaining work over the last 12 months.”
