Two new machines are buzzing around the Burpengary Equestrian Centre with help from Mark Ryan and the Queensland Government.
Mark was on hand to officially dedicate the new equipment, which includes a tractor and a ride on mower.
“This Centre and its member organisations have been severely affected by recent flooding events and it’s a testament to the toughness and resilience of the people involved here that it’s still going strong,” Mr Ryan said.
“This new equipment will help the Centre and its member organisations to weather whatever storms may come their way and continue to provide top-class facilities for riders.”
Burpengary Equestrian Centre Liaison Officer, Gary Bryce thanked Mr Ryan and the Queensland Government for the grant support and said that the tractor would be known by a special name.
“Mark has supported the Centre for a long time and we’ve decided to name the tractor after him,” Mr Bryce said.
“From now on, it’s known as the Mark II.”
