Local business owners braved Thursday’s chilly winter morning to join Treasurer and Deputy Premier Jackie Trad at Caboolture’s Revolution Espresso Lounge for Mark Ryan’s latest small business network coffee catch-up.
Held every second month, Mark Ryan’s Small Business Network events are designed to keep our local businesses up to date with the range of assistance and opportunities provided by the State Government, as well as presenting a great networking forum.
State Member for Morayfield Mark Ryan said the recent State Budget, handed down by Treasurer Trad, was the best he had seen for the Caboolture/Morayfield region.
“I honestly didn’t think we’d see a better budget for our region than the 2017 budget,” he said, “but the 2018 budget really is the best.
“New projects funded in our local area include major improvements at seventeen locations along Beerburrum and Morayfield Roads, an additional Special School and a two storey secondary learning centre at Caboolture High.
“And let’s not forget major ongoing projects such as the new Caboolture Police Station, the Morayfield Train Station upgrade and the expansion of the Caboolture Hospital Emergency Department.
“It was great to catch up with local business owners, to discuss these job-creating infrastructure projects, as well as the other budget funding designed to help business owners and employees.”
