Applications for the next round of the Queensland Government’s popular Get Started Vouchers program will open at 10am on Wednesday 27 January 2016.

State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan, is encouraging local families to get going early for this popular program as the $150 vouchers are allocated to eligible people on a “first come” basis and there are only a limited number of vouchers available.

“The Get Started Vouchers are designed to help local families with the fees associated with their children participating in sport with registered local sporting clubs,” Mr Ryan said.

“Vouchers of up to $150 are available for eligible local families and can be redeemed at a registered club.

“I’m very pleased that the Queensland Government is committed to providing support for families and encouraging kids to get active.

“I encourage all eligible families to apply early for these vouchers as this program is very popular.”

Applications for this round close on 30 March 2016 (or earlier if fully allocated). Vouchers must be presented to a registered club by 6 May 2016.
