Forum to keep local seniors informed

18 November 2016

Local seniors are invited to attend Mark Ryan’s 2016 Seniors Forum and Christmas Morning Tea, on Friday 2 December 2016 at the Burpengary Community Hall.

State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan MP, said that the annual event is great way to present useful information for local seniors in a relaxed and friendly environment.

"It is more than just presenting information because there’s an opportunity for attendees to speak with service providers and also gives me a chance to listen to the issues that are important to seniors," Mr Ryan said.

"Last year’s event was the first since I was re-elected and I committed to bringing it back again this year.

"We’ve got an exciting line up of presenters this year, including the return of famed seniors advocate Everald Compton, who was a bit hit last year.

"And, maybe best of all, the Caboolture Community Choir will be there to serenade us with our favourite Christmas carols."

The 2016 Seniors Forum and Christmas Morning Tea starts at 9:00am on Friday 2 December 2016 at the Burpengary Community Hall. Best parking is next door at the Burpengary Jets Clubhouse.
