State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan MP, has congratulated local Queensland Police Service officers who received awards and medals at a ceremony in Morayfield last week.

"Our local men and women in blue do an outstanding job in the face of challenges that most of us can only imagine," Mr Ryan said.

"Awards were given for length of diligent service and also recognition for officers who achieved outstanding service in their respective fields.

"It is my very great privilege to congratulate these officers on behalf of our community."
